Charles G. Menk Jr. holds a Masters degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester England, with a Diploma in Design Technology. He retired from IBM working as a new product planner responsible for the funding and marketing products focusing on graphic tools, the use of Chinese and Kanji characters in computing systems, and originator of image processing on mid-range computers. Mr. Menk used his business planning experience at Franciscan University of Steubenville in the Development and Conferencing Offices and as a grant writer for Information Technology. In addition to the Knights of Columbus and the Secular Franciscan Order, Mr. Menk is board member in several philanthropic organizations in the fields of education teacher development and spiritual renewal. Married for 43 years to his wife Carol, they have 5 children and 15 grandchildren.

James M. Hostetler is a part-time instructor in Legal Studies, Political Science, and Human Life Studies at Franciscan University. In addition to teaching he provides legal and consulting services to Christian nonprofit organizations through Guardian Angel Nonprofit Services, a business he started in 1997. He earned a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from St. Francis College (Loretto, Pa.), where he received the 1979 Latin Award and Philosophy Award. He is a member of the Society of Catholic Social Scientists. Additionally, he has 21 years of experience in serving government, business and the nonprofit sector as corporate counsel. Married for 22 years to Diane, they have 7 children, ranging in age from 2 to 20. Jim and Diane are Secular Franciscans.

James E. Coyle, Jr. is Associate Professor of Communication Arts at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. He also serves as communication director of Franciscan University's summer conference program and has produced and directed a variety of television, radio and multimedia projects for the University and other organizations. Before joining the faculty at Franciscan University in 1982, he held supervisory and professional positions in corporate television and communications at GTE Data Services' corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida. He received his B.A. and M.A. in communications from the University of Michigan and is completing doctoral studies in instructional technology at Kent State University. His professional and research interests include application of new communications technologies in educational and cultural environments. He and his wife have four children ranging in age from 13 to 28 years old.

Kenneth K. Lentz has held various corporate senior management positions in the Telecommunications and Information Sciences field including Global Director of Call Center Products at Siemens Information and Communications Networks; Founder, owner, & CEO of Sunburst Software, Inc.; and Los Angeles Regional Director of Information Systems at Charter Communications. Since the sale of his corporation in 1998, he has pursued ministry work through organizing mission trips to Mexico to build houses and coordinate medical clinics. He is currently pursuing an advance degree in Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
